December = busy, crazy, fun!

Oh boy! Lets see....
Jason started the month of December off like a champion! After tearing his ACL during a basketball game one fateful Friday morning, things were a little rough for him. His dreams of taking his city league basketball team all the way to #1 were dashed and surgery was on its way to being scheduled. :(
He did a great job helping out around the house, considering his weakened knee. Christmas was a blast, boys got lots of great gifts from our family and Santa didn't disappoint either!

We took the boys to the Gardens at Dry Creek's breakfast with Santa and it was wonderful! They got to meet the real Santa and spouted off their wish lists.
Dawson is also involved in a show group that sang during the month of December at the malls in the valley. He was the cutest little guy up there! He got a solo to "Jingle Bells" and did a great job!

Rasmussen family traditions were in full swing as we went to "Ho Ho Night," and reinacted the Navity on Christmas Eve.

CHRISTMAS MORNING!
(about 67 pictures were taken, I will spare you the rest)

Carter's Pirate birthday party, Arrrg Uncle Sean!
The cake and cupcakes!

Novemeber was a great month around these parts! We celebrated Thanksgiving with our sweet new baby, joined in the happy birthday chorus for Carter bug as he turned 4 and got ready for Christmas! Nothing too out of the ordinary, I guess! Beckett started sleeping soundly through the night and has been a great little sleeper ever since, knock on wood! Dawson won the district reflections contest for his project in the photography category and it was fun to see him so excited about that.
 All in all, things were pretty smooth sailin' this month!
