Cutest Kid Contest

So I entered both of the boys in Utah Valley Magazines "Cutest Kiddies" Contest. This is one of the pics of Dawson I submitted. I think it shows a side of him, we rarely (if ever) see. So innocent and cooperative. We'll have to wait and see if he fools the judges!

January: A month for Change

This month has brought a lot of new changes to our family! We have a couple of new roomates- Little brother Sean and his great girly-friend Nicole. Nicole doesn't actually live here, just visits a lot. It's great...we have a full house! She is attending BYU and is super fun and smart! Jason and Sean are both jumping in to a new business adventure and we are all getting used to the "new plans." Carter and Dawson are continually changing...they are both such cute boys.

Carter is smiling a ton and starting to "coo" and play. Dawson is pretty good around him, mostly just wants to kiss him as much as he can. But in this "season for sneezin" I don't let it happen very often. At Carter's 2 month check-up, he weighed 10 lbs. 10 oz. and was 23.5 inches long.
The doctor said he is growing great and is perfectly healthy! We are blessing him on Feb. 3rd (Just happens to be the superbowl) and we are excited to have our family all around us on such a special day. Lets see... what else is going on?? We are all really tired of the daily snow falls...Jason has given up shoveling the driveway- its pretty pointless with the Spanish Fork winds- he just freezes to death when he goes outside! My oldest brother Shane and his wife Krista welcomed a new baby boy to the family- Riley Jayden. Haven't seen him yet, but we are looking forward to the chance! I guess thats all for now... new to this blogging thing, so we'll see how well I keep it up!
